Advances in Photoemission Techniques 2026 - Application Form

Welcome to the “Advances in Photoemission Techniques: Probing Space, Energy, Momentum, and Time” workshop registration page.

This workshop will be held June 2–5, 2026, on the OIST campus in Okinawa, Japan.

To apply, please complete the webform below. All participants are expected to present their work in either poster or oral format. Please upload your abstract as part of the application.

The registration fee is 25,000 JPY. Payment instructions will be provided after acceptance. The fee covers all meals, the workshop banquet, twin-shared accommodation on the OIST campus (limited availability), and local transportation between OIST and Naha Airport during designated times.

Please note that we offer accommodation for participants in a twin-shared rooms on the OIST campus. If you are accepted but prefer not to share a room (with ensuite bathroom), you will need to arrange and pay for your own accommodation and your own daily transportation to OIST. The registration fee remains the same even if you choose to stay off-campus.

Applications will be accepted until capacity is reached, and no later than January 30, 2026 (any time zone).
Applicants will be notified of acceptance decisions by February 6, 2026.
Payment information will be sent after acceptance, and the payment deadline is February 28, 2026.

Travel Bursary (50%)

Travel Bursary (50%): Any participant who receives a travel bursary from OIST will get reimbursed for half the amount of the actual cost of the air ticket. However, it shall not exceed the upper limit amount. Please check 'Guidelines Regarding Travel Bursaries':

No Grant: OIST will not support your flights to Okinawa. In this case, you are free to spend extra time as you wish and for as long as you wish. Note that we still expect all participants to attend the full workshop.
