Information Theory in Modern Science Registration Form

The OIST Information Theory in Modern Science (ITMS) Workshop is open to all applicants and aimed at approximately 100 participants. Among these, we will select up to 30 highly motivated individuals for poster presentations. The primary audience for poster presentations includes master’s and PhD students; however, a limited number of industry professionals, professors, researchers, and exceptional bachelor’s students may also be considered, depending on availability.

Poster presentations may include published work as well as ongoing projects or work resulting from undergraduate or graduate research. While the workshop program covers topics of broad interest, the poster sessions are intended to foster interaction and in-depth scientific exchange among participants. A Best Poster Award will be presented to recognise outstanding poster contributions.

The poster presentation is optional and not required to attend the workshop. Applicants interested in presenting a poster should indicate this during registration by checking the corresponding box. Selected participants will be invited to submit a short abstract (approximately 300 words or one page) by May 17 via the web form.
